Captain’s Comic Expo is a two day celebration of comic book culture! Featuring over 100 tables of classic and modern comic books, amazing artwork, unique artisans, outstanding cosplay, and much much more, Captain’s Comic Expo is the true comic-con experience right in your backyard!
Who hosts Captain’s Comic Expo?
Captain’s Comic Expo is organized and presented by Charleston’s #1 Voted comic book store, Captain’s Comics and Toys. We are locally owned and operated and have been a part of Charleston's comic book community for over 30 years (with the current ownership at 14 years)! For more information on the store, click here.
Where is the Expo located?
Captain’s Comic Expo is held at the Omar Shrine Temple at 176 Patriots Point Rd. Mt. Pleasant, SC 29494
What are the dates for the Expo?
It will be held Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26, 2023.
What are the hours?
10AM-5PM on Saturday and 10AM-4PM on Sunday. Box office opens 1 hour early each day.
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, there is free parking. If the lot is full, there is extra parking at the bridge-walking park.
How much are tickets for the Expo?
Regular prices for tickets start at $20! Kids 10 and under are FREE with paid adult.
Where can I buy tickets to the Expo?
Tickets are available here, at Captain’s Comics & Toys, and at the door.
I purchased tickets through the website. Where are they?
There are NO physical tickets to the Expo. All tickets are will call so an ID will be required at the door.
How do I become a vendor at the show?
We are currently sold out of vendor/artist tables, but to join our waitlist, click APPLY
What are the Covid-19 policies for the Expo this year?
We have 10 foot aisles, reasonable capacity limits, fresh air constantly flowing, and masks are always welcome. Please stay home if you are Covid positive.
