The 17th annual Captain’s Comic Expo is THE pop culture event in Charleston!
Organized and presented by Charleston’s #1 voted Captain’s Comics and Toys, Captain’s Comic Expo is a local celebration of comic book culture! Featuring over 120 tables of classic and modern comic books, amazing artwork, unique artisans, outstanding cosplay, and much much more, Captain’s Comic Expo is the true comic-con experience right in your backyard!
Saturday’s “The Star Wars Experience” returns to the Expo for an amazing display! Featuring a HUGE selection of Star Wars characters, life-sized props and photo ops, and more, The Star Wars Experience will let you feel like your part of the action! (Pending final approval from the 501st)
Sunday will feature Cosplay LIVE!, the largest cosplay showcase in Charleston! Come either (or both) days dressed up in your costume of choice, and have your style captured by one of our professional photographers with one of our many special guests!
Outside the hall we’ll have a food truck rodeo with amazing local meals and snacks for everyone!

Captain’s Comic Expo returns to the Omar Shrine Temple at 176 Patriots Point Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464 in beautiful Patriot’s Point. The Omar features over 17,000 ft2 with ample parking, 3 food options, a stage for cosplay and photography, and a few surprises!
